1. About the Competition
What is PHOTO SEASON?
PHOTO SEASON is an international fine art photography competition organized by the PHOTO SEASON collective in Latvia, in cooperation with the Latvian Creative Photographers Association (LCPA). It brings together photographers from across the world to showcase their work to an international jury.
Who can participate?
Photographers from any country can participate, provided they meet the eligibility requirements outlined in our Terms of Service (generally, participants must be 18 years or older, or have guardian consent if a minor).
What categories are available?
The competition features multiple thematic categories. Please check the current edition's category list on our website for full details.
2. Submitting Your Entry
How do I submit my work?
Create an account on our website, select your category, upload your image(s) along with any required information (title, description, etc.), and complete the submission process before the deadline.
What file formats and sizes are accepted?
Please refer to the technical specifications listed on the submission page for the current edition, as requirements may vary (file format, resolution, file size limits).
Can I submit work that has won other competitions?
This depends on the specific category rules. Please review the rules for your chosen category before submitting.
Can I edit or withdraw my entry after submission?
Once submitted, entries generally cannot be edited. For withdrawal requests, please contact us as soon as possible at info@photoseasons.com.
How many entries can I submit?
This varies by category and edition. Please check the entry limits specified on the relevant category page.
3. Entry Fees and Payments
Is there a fee to enter?
Certain categories or editions may require an entry fee, as specified at the time of submission.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payments are processed securely through our authorized third-party payment service providers. Accepted methods will be displayed at checkout.
Can I get a refund?
Entry fees are generally non-refundable, including in cases of disqualification or non-selection, except where required by applicable law. See our Terms of Service for full details.
I was charged but didn't receive a confirmation. What should I do?

4. Judging and Results
Who judges the entries?
Entries are reviewed by an international jury appointed by the PHOTO SEASON collective, based on published criteria for each category.
When and how will results be announced?
Results are typically announced on the website and communicated to participants via email. Specific dates are published on the competition timeline.
Are judging decisions final?
Yes, all judging decisions, awards, and special distinctions are final and binding, as outlined in our Terms of Service.
Will I be notified if I win?
Yes, winners and recipients of special distinctions will be contacted via the email address provided during registration.
5. Copyright and Usage of Images
Do I retain copyright of my submitted photos?
Yes. You retain full copyright ownership of your work. By submitting, you grant us a limited license to display, publish, and promote your work in connection with the competition. See our Copyright Policy for details.
Will my name be credited if my work is published?
Yes, all published or exhibited works are credited to the photographer.
6. Account and Technical Issues
I forgot my password. What should I do?

I'm having trouble uploading my images.
